Differing Peyton Opinions on this sub vs. TikTok

Hello! I wanted to open a discussion about something I’ve noticed as I am a first time viewer for OTH. I’m currently on season 4 but I do occasionally check this Reddit and TikTok for edits or if it comes on my fyp.

I’ve been noticing a notable amount of support on this subreddit for Peyton as a character here and lots of people defending her (there is also many people who disagree with her actions on Reddit etc), but if you go on a different platform such as TikTok (where one tree hill content is also quite popular), it is almost 90% of Peyton hate/disagreement. I observe this because if you simply search up “Peyton One Tree Hill” you will almost always get videos of her in a negative context (especially with Brooke) or videos of “Peyton before the writers ruined her” or “She could’ve been so cool”. I am just wanting to know if this is with the change of audience since most of TikTok is Gen Z and quite younger whereas this subreddit is more widespread in age?? Or maybe girls these days have resonated more with Brooke over the whole cheating thing so therefore they think Peyton could have done better overall. What do you guys think?
