IGNOU questions regarding degree & admission

Hello everyone, I wanted to ask two questions:

My wife did MA from IGNOU, 4 years ago... 2 years course time, and then another 1.5 year for result and marks assigned. So we got final result in last year Q4.

I applied for the degree as soon as portal for it went live (December 2025), the convocation happened in April of 2026. It has been 5 months since then, but we have still not received the degree. When I check status, it says under processing.

I also applied for another MA degree (in different subject) in May/June I think, that application is also pending till now. No enrollment no. Assigned. I googled this and found out that enrollment no. & Books are provided once the session starts (after admission ends) but IGNOU keep extending admission dates.

Is this normal? How much time does it take to receive degree by post after convocation?

How much time does it take for an admission to be confirmed? And then receive books and material for the course?
