Pre-approved for all the good cards, none today.

Like the title says, I used to check banks preapproval every week, see what was within my reach, for context:

697 EQ 699 EX 695 TU VS3

2 changes in July:

I applied and got a flex(3500) from Chase

And secured loan from navy fed

Fast forward 2 months, can't get approved for any of the cards, I have no DD ability

I have a secured card from NF that passed 3 month( CLI went from 500 to 900)

What's going on and can I do something? I have mayor spending coming up and don't know if I should channel it through chase or hold on hoping I can get approved for cards that I was already pre-approved for in the past.
