**Assessing the match and expressing his confidence in the team, Çetin said,** *“Tonight, as the Fenerbahçe community stood united and the great Fenerbahçe fans gave their team this unconditional support, we all witnessed our team’s potential and the performance they delivered. I would like to thank our coach and every single player. They put on a tremendous performance. Tonight, they achieved one of the most significant scorelines in our history. I congratulate each and every one of them.*

*However, it’s important to note that we kicked off the season on June 24. We’re going through a very challenging process together. Especially during those weeks when our team was fighting to qualify for the Champions League—and achieving that qualification after 18 years—as well as the tough matches we’ve played and will play in the Champions League, none of this has been easy. It’s true that we’ve gone through difficult times during this process. In particular, we’ve dropped points in the Super League. Today’s match once again demonstrated that we will continue to give our all in our fight to make it into the top 24 and then the last 16 in the Champions League.*

*Our team has tremendous potential. Every single player is of the highest caliber. Their adaptability and development on the field are improving day by day, just as we saw tonight. Our primary goal is to claim the championship on May 27. Every match we play during this process will give us even more strength as we work toward that goal.*

*In particular, with the tremendous support and experience of our President, Mr. Aziz Yıldırım, who has led us from day one, I see that we are moving toward a very strong position as a club, as a team, and as a technical staff and players.*

*“We will further build on this during the national team break and, starting with our first match against Rizespor, pick up where we left off today; on May 27, we will continue to take strong steps toward the championship,”*

**Regarding the impact of criticism over İsmail Kartal’s 99-point tally from the previous season, Çetin said**, *“In this challenging period, Fenerbahçe cannot afford to suffer these losses in the first five weeks. No one can. Neither we, nor Coach İsmail, nor the players—no one can. Therefore, this has nothing to do with the past. The Fenerbahçe community must always be successful. Fenerbahçe must win every match. We can view the points lost in the first five weeks entirely as shortcomings resulting from the difficulties of this challenging period. We’re at the beginning of the league. Without deviating from our fundamental goal and without any wavering in our belief, we will continue to fight on this difficult path, just as we did tonight. Therefore, the road ahead is clear.”*

**Regarding the impact of refereeing errors on point losses, Oğuz Çetin said,** *“Absolutely, but we must not use this as an excuse. There have certainly been decisions during this process that directly affected our play and the score. There have been matches where we were wronged. There have been many such matches. We are moving forward by conducting our own self-criticism. The events unfolding on that front are, of course, a festering wound in Turkish soccer. I hope that in the coming weeks, refereeing errors will not be made against us or any other teams.”*

**Our Director of Football, Oğuz Çetin, also made the following remarks regarding Mert Müldür’s condition:**

*“Following examinations conducted after his injury, it was determined that Mert Müldür has a meniscus tear, and the medical staff is currently following the necessary procedures. We will provide you with an update on the process as soon as possible.”*
