Why Do MCA Leads Stop Responding After Their First Inquiry?

I’ve been thinking about something that happens pretty often with MCA leads. A lead makes an inquiry, asks for more information, and seems genuinely interested. Then, after that first conversation, the replies start slowing down or stop completely. Does anybody know the reason like any tools to help with this problem, or did I miss something?
