Hey everyone, I could really use some advice because I'm honestly getting pretty worried about my laptop. used ai to write this since English is not my first language

I have an **ASUS TUF F15** with:

* **CPU:** Intel i7-13620H (13th Gen)
* **GPU:** RTX 4060 Laptop GPU 8GB VRAM
* **RAM:** 16GB DDR5
* **Storage:** 512GB SSD
* BIOS, Windows and NVIDIA drivers are all fully updated.
* Laptop was **cleaned and repasted just 2 days ago**.

My main problem is **Wuthering Waves**.

While playing WuWa, my CPU temperatures are frequently reaching **97–100°C**, sometimes sitting in the mid/high 90s. What's confusing me is that the **CPU utilization doesn't even seem particularly high** when this happens.

The GPU temperature seems much more reasonable, but the CPU keeps getting extremely hot.

I've already had the laptop cleaned and repasted, so I'm confused about what else could be causing this.

I know the i7-13620H has a **100°C maximum operating temperature according to Intel**, so technically it's within the CPU's specification, but seeing it constantly approach 100°C still makes me uncomfortable, especially because I want this laptop to last for several more years.

I've also seen other TUF F15/i7-13620H owners report temperatures in the 90s while gaming, so I'm wondering whether this is simply how ASUS configured the CPU's boost behavior, or whether there's something wrong with my particular laptop.

**A few important things:**

* The laptop isn't sitting on a bed or blocking the vents.
* I use a laptop stand/elevated position.
* It was recently cleaned.
* It was recently repasted.
* BIOS/drivers are updated.
* This problem is especially noticeable in **Wuthering Waves**.
* Other games don't seem to push the CPU quite as aggressively.
* I have recordings showing my in-game settings and the temperatures/utilization.

I'm also not in a position to replace the laptop or build a desktop right now. I bought this laptop specifically because it was the best option I could afford for playing WuWa, and my phone can't handle the game properly either.

So I'm mainly looking for advice on **what I should actually do from here**.

Should I:

1. Leave everything at stock and just accept the temperatures?
2. Change something in Armoury Crate/G-Helper?
3. Limit CPU boost?
4. Reduce CPU power limits?
5. Change any specific WuWa settings?
6. Have the thermal paste/application checked again?
7. Be concerned about long-term damage from regularly hitting 95–100°C?

I'm honestly getting to the point where I'm constantly staring at the temperature overlay instead of enjoying the game lol.

**I've attached a video showing the temperatures, CPU/GPU utilization and my in-game settings.** Hopefully that gives enough information to figure out what's actually happening.

I'd really appreciate advice from anyone who owns the same **TUF F15 + i7-13620H + RTX 4060** combination, especially if you've managed to lower the CPU temperature without destroying gaming performance.

Thanks!

ASUS TUF F15 (i7-13620H + RTX 4060) hitting 97–100°C CPU temps in Wuthering Waves — even with low CPU usage after cleaning/repaste. Should I be worried?
