Looking for information on realistic living expenses in Bali for a 3 month stay.
F30. I’ll be living in Canggu for 3 months and I’ve been getting mixed reviews about groceries in Bali. How expensive are they really?
Basics like eggs, bread, chicken from grocery shops?
Is IDR 500-600k per day budget doable? Minus accommodation and occasional partying expenses, of course. I’m also not big on coffee shops or smoothie bowls and such. I mostly want to maybe eat out once a day and cook another meal myself.
How expensive are gyms on average? And I don’t mean Nirvana or Obsidian. I mean regular non-influencer gyms but well equipped and preferably air-conned.
I’ve visited before for two weeks but I was on a “fuck it, I’m in Bali” budget and spent around $3000 USD in two weeks and I cannot realistically afford to do that when I’m there for 3 months.
Would also appreciate any budgeting tips, things that you’d recommend I’d stock on before arriving.
Thank you!
