Skeeter syndrome start as adult?

Hi all.
I have developed multiple new allergies since 2023 as a form of long Covid, including rare food, allergies for which I carry an EpiPen and multiple new environmental allergens.
Recently, though I’ve noticed that nights are torture as mosquitoes can bite me and they immediately swell up and are profoundly itchy. Tonight, I’m struggling as I have seven new bites on my arms and forehead. As anyone here developed Skeeter syndrome as an adult? How do you handle this torture? I’d love any commiseration and advice as it’s feeling pretty overwhelming rn.
