Stuck while the universe kept going

I recently had a dream where I was punished for something. I wasn't sure what I had done, but I could not die as a concept. My body decayed and rotted slowly, and I became, literally, a floating consciousness as the universe carried on, eventually cooling down from the heat death. Everything started turning into concepts as well and flying off to someplace, but only my consciousness stayed in place, inside a pitch-black void. Even then, I could still, in a way, sense what was happening in my surroundings, as this supposed "God" was calling for his creations. It was only I who couldn't follow him, as I was bound to a specific point.

I wouldn't really consider it a nightmare as I was staying calm through the whole dream but man was it so surreal to be just a concept of my fleshy identity
