Engineers who graduated with low CGPA or took extra years to finish. How did it actually affect your career?

I’m currently studying engineering and I’m wondering how much CGPA and finishing on time actually matter once you’re in the field. If you’re working now, what CGPA did you graduate with and did it really matter? Is there a minimum that people care about or does skill and experience end up mattering way more? For those who took 5 years or more to finish, how did that affect your career? Did people even ask or does it mostly just mess with your head while you’re in college? Looking back, would graduating in 4 years have actually changed anything for you? What really mattered in the end skills, internships, connections, something else?
