My Seasonic PSUs keep dying

I'm on my 2nd malfunctioning seasonic psu. It is a Focus GX-850 atx 3.1. I run an rtx 5070 + ryzen 5 7600. Never overclocked anything. It's been almost a year since I received my replacement PSU and now I'm having the same symptoms again: computer instant shuts off after about 30 minutes sometimes sooner, can't use power button until cable is replugged. No, my cpu or gpu aren't overheating, I always have my temperature and wattage stats visible and the gpu cable isn't melted.

I'm just left wondering with a few questions while I submit an RMA: Does this PSU line have a history with overheating? Do power surges cause this behavior?How can I further protect against power surges? Why does it function fine and then shut off randomly?
