Just finalized all the big furniture orders! Now the long wait begins...

Finally locked in the dining set, sectional, bed, and rugs. Now I've got a few weeks of lead time while everything gets made and shipped.

Since I have time on my hands, I’m trying to prep for delivery day. My primary rule so far is to uncrate all the wooden crates outside first to save my floors from wood splinters and dust.

For anyone who’s been through a big furniture drop, what's one uncrating or delivery day tip you wish you knew beforehand?
