What areas/cities are safest & ideal for Families / Family Life?

We're planning to Move to Texas maybe sometime around Dec to May or so

Looking for the safest place, ideal for raising kids.

What areas seem to fit that to you?

Safety is so important to me.

Want the least amount of shady people in the community we live in. Little to no shady people.

Where we live now in California, in 7 years haven’t seen a single shady person here ever.

Only people here are people that live here, that’s it.
