Practicing kissing

I’ll give the context before the question as it’ll probably make my question make more sense, but I personally don’t really enjoy kissing I don’t get any sensation or enjoyment out of it so I’ve never really engaged or practiced kissing however I want to try hooking up and kissing seems to be a popular foreplay and want to be able to at least meet someone half way with it.

So I guess my questions would be how do I go about improving my kissing and what is it about kissing do overs find enjoyable.
