Looking for people to join our Tungnath Chandrashila trip | 1st to 4th October | Delhi

Hey everyone,

We’re currently a group of 7 people, 2 guys and 5 girls, mostly college students between 19 and 22. We’re planning a trip from Delhi to Tungnath and Chandrashila from 1st to 4th October.

We already have our Traveller booked and have a few seats available. We’re planning to take around 3 to 4 people from Reddit and fill the remaining spots through our college.

The rough plan is:

1st Oct: Leave Delhi at night

2nd Oct: Reach Uttarakhand and stay in Sari village

3rd Oct: Tungnath and Chandrashila trek

4th Oct: Leave for Delhi in the morning

The exact itinerary and stay arrangements aren't finalized yet, so we’re figuring that out now. We’ll most probably stay in camps or cottages. If anyone has stayed around Chopta, Sari or Ukhimath before and has recommendations for good places to stay, feel free to suggest them.

Anyone above 18 is welcome. College students, working people, guys, girls, couples, singles, everyone is welcome.

Also just to make this very clear, this is a travel group, not a matchmaking trip. So please don’t join expecting anything romantic or thinking this is some kind of dating setup. We’re just looking for people to travel with, have a good time and enjoy the trip.

We’re mainly looking for decent, respectful and easy going people who are comfortable travelling with a mixed group. Just tell us a little about yourself, your age, where you’re from, what you do, etc. If you seem like a good fit and the vibe matches, we can go ahead from there.

One thing though, please only reach out if you’re actually sure you can make it. We don’t want anyone cancelling at the last moment because it affects the Traveller, rooms and the whole plan.

Also, if you’re under 18, please don’t reach out. We don’t want any last minute problems with parents or permission.

We need to sort out the stay and room arrangements soon, so if you’re interested, let us know ASAP.

TL;DR:7 college students (2M + 5F, mostly 19–22) are going from Delhi → Tungnath/Chandrashila from 1st–4th October. We have a 12 seater Traveller booked and are looking for 3–4 people, 18+, to join us. Singles, couples, guys and girls are all welcome. Looking for decent, respectful people who are actually committed to the trip and won't cancel last minute. Stay will most likely be camps/cottages around Chopta/Sari/Ukhimath.
