While we were working on the USDZ Optimiser\* for STAGEit, we thought: man, it would be awesome if we didn’t have to AirDrop everything to the headset.

That thought coincided with a big overhaul of the STAGEit engine we’re working on. (Existing users: this means **UNDO is on its way! Yay!**)

We realised the engine rebuild meant syncing between devices, including transferring entire scenes wirelessly, was within reach. So we started working on it, and the early tests are really encouraging.

It’s useful for collaboration, but also for presenting. SharePlay, while awesome, can be a royal pain in the ass when you’re working with someone who’s never used the headset before. Our update means all of this can be controlled centrally from STAGEit Host, running on any supported device.

We’re aiming to roll this out later this year.

AirDropping models might be a thing of the past! The new STAGEit engine we’re working on supports wireless scene & asset transfer
