Is using AI for product-photo backgrounds a RED FLAG? ....

I’m a beginner running a small handmade business, and I make my keychains completely by hand. 🧸✨

For some of my product photos, I use AI only to create a cute/aesthetic background — the actual keychain is 100% handmade and remains the focus of the photo.

Someone recently told me that using AI backgrounds is a “huge red flag.” 😅

So I genuinely want to know:

Would seeing an AI-generated background make you trust a handmade business less? Or is it just another photography/presentation tool?

I’d love to hear honest opinions, especially from other small-business owners and customers! 💗
