About the new Trade Metric

Played my first match post update and saw a new per-round stat called "trade". How does the game define a trade though? Is it getting any kill X seconds have elapsed after a teammate dies? Do both players have to be in the same spot/radius and peek from the same angle? Does 2 players swinging from opposite angles at the same time count?
