Start D2 now or wait for unvaulting

I used to be a massive D2 player when it first released but after a couple seasons dropped it. Really keen to get back into it after hearing about its revival but would you guys recommend starting a new account now or waiting until all the content in unvaulted?

Basically how do we think starting D2 fresh now would go?

Any thoughts appreciated
