HOW do y'all ride big dragons 😭

No matter what island I'm on, I see people riding huge dragons. And just HOW. Big dragons almost always fly at the pace of a snail, their health and combat is amazing but their speed is SO SLOW. The only reason I'd use a huge dragon would be for combat, how do you guys get anything done flying huge dragons??? 😭
