Hi everyone, I’m hoping to raise some money towards the veterinary costs for my cat, Mishti.
At the end of August, Mishti suddenly became very unwell. After a series of tests, the vets discovered that she had a severely blocked bile duct, which was affecting her liver and making her critically ill. She eventually needed emergency biliary diversion surgery to bypass the blockage.

She has thankfully been able to come home, but she’s still very unwell. She still has a feeding tube in place, needs medication and assisted feeding, and continues to go back and forth to the hospital for treatment and monitoring. Her costs are still ongoing as she continues to receive veterinary care.
Her veterinary bills are coming to just under £20,000, and I’ve included the invoice I currently have for transparency. I’m still waiting for the invoice from her first hospital visit, which was around £3,500. I’m happy to update the invoices as I receive them so people can see the ongoing costs and treatment.

We’ve been able to cover the costs so far with help from my family (around £7000) I’m incredibly grateful we were able to get Mishti the treatment she needed, but I now have a substantial amount to repay, which will put me under significant financial pressure. As she is still receiving treatment the bills are increasing, I have now had to take out a monthly payment plan with the vet to pay off the rest.

I never expected to have to ask strangers for help, but I want to give Mishti every chance to recover. If anyone is able to donate, even a small amount would genuinely help. If you can’t donate, sharing this post would also mean a lot!

Mishti is everything to me, I got her at only 6 weeks old, and she unfortunately spent her 5th birthday (last week) in cat ICU. I got her at a time when i was very depressed and nothing would make me feel better, but she did. I love her so much, please let me help her get better.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read about Mishti. ❤️
