Getting started - sax to clarinet

Hi clarinet players

I just won 1000 AUD from my school for outstanding contribution to music.

I'm a saxophone player of 8 years, mostly jazz but also contemporary classical/new music, and I'm looking to get a clarinet for my doubling game. I used to play it like 10 years ago but that's all gone now.

What's a good starter clarinet? I've got no issues with second hand clarinets, I can get them checked over. Any gear recommendations (mouthpieces, reeds etc) as well and any tips?
