How can I stay in Romania legally until the ministry admission

After I finished my language program in Timişoară university I applied for a university in Bucharest and got my admission from the university and I’m waiting for the ministry acceptance, but right now there is a big delay due to unknown reasons for most people here , the problem is that I’m from a 3rd world nation and my residency permit will expire by the end of December and I don’t know for how long until I get it knowing that I have only applied for the letter of acceptance this September, and I also cannot go back to my country since the Romanian embassy delays interviews and returning the passports(it took me 2 months to get my passport back the first time ) which will make it almost impossible to enroll on time , any recommendations please
