Cayo replay glitch not working

I’ve been gone for a while and recently came back to playing gta 5 online and wanted to do the replay glitch but every second time I want to do it I close the game come back my friend got the money but I have the 3 gta day cooldown and have to restart all the missions. So now I’m wondering why does it always work the first time but then the second time it won’t. Maybe somebody knows if I’m doing something wrong.
