Alyosha and Vodyanitsa are such a fun duo
Whether you ship them or just like them as friends, they have so many cute little moments together.
They’re both in the Rokot, they’ve worked together a bunch of times, and they’re carrying around secrets they can’t exactly share with everyone. I also love how different they are: Alyosha is this quiet human hunter, while Vodyanitsa is an outgoing water imp who sings opera. They even remind me a little of the water imp noblewoman and human mercenary mentioned in 7.0.
She’s dragged him along on her late-night outings and made medicine to help him deal with the cold. Then in 7.1, she did his makeup and casually joked about them getting assigned the same room😭.
And even Tugarin seems to love her. He recognized her right away when they crossed paths, despite her trying to hide who she was. Her voice line about Alyosha also says that when she sings a lullaby, all the puppies settle down and fall asleep.
Idk...Every new little detail about these two makes me like their dynamic more.
