Why I started making custom WH faction dice

Hey everyone, wanted to do a quick intro and share the story behind why I started making custom Warhammer dice for the community.

I’m a huge Dark Angels player first and foremost. For the longest time, I was hunting for a perfect dice set that could truly match my Dark Angels army’s theme and style. I scoured tons of stores and options, but I always ended up disappointed. Most sets either had generic, uninspired designs that didn’t fit the faction vibe, or they were ridiculously overpriced for mediocre quality — straight-up premium “tax” for Warhammer players, in my opinion.

Tired of settling for subpar options, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I referenced tons of official faction art and community designs, tweaked the details repeatedly, and made my very first batch of custom Dark Angels resin dice. When I finally got them, I was absolutely blown away. The color matching, faction details, and overall texture fit my army perfectly, exactly what I’d always wanted.

This is the first dice set I custom for my own Dark Angels army.

Custom dice usually require a minimum order quantity, so I ended up with way more sets than I needed for my own collection. I started gifting the extra dice to my Warhammer friends, and that’s how this little journey began. Gradually, more friends who play other factions — Space Marines, Chaos, Xenos, and more — asked if I could make themed dice sets for their armies too.

That’s how my small dice business got started.

My core goal has never been to chase quick profits. I’m just a fellow Warhammer enthusiast who’s sick of seeing overpriced, low-quality generic dice flooding the market. All I want to do is provide the community with well-designed, solid-quality, budget-friendly faction dice — no gimmicks, no overcharging, no unnecessary markup. Every set is made to match the unique aesthetic of each Warhammer faction, for players who care about matching their army’s vibe down to the smallest detail.
