Intimacy and living with a partner
I am looking for some advice as I am realising I may be autistic. I have recently moved in with my partner of nearly two years, and since living together I am strugglin with any form of intimacy. Prior to moving in with him, intimacy was no issue for me at all. When I am apart from him (at work etc.), it's something I crave, yet as soon as the opportunity presents itself, I suddenly withdraw.
In addition to the intimacy, I also struggle with day to day tasks, and I constanly feel like I am telling him to do things in a certain way, hypercritical about the way he does things (like cooking, chores etc.), without being thankful he's done the task in the first place (even though I am very thankful). It's almost as if my brain goes straight to being critical even when I don't want to be.
Just wondering if anyone has similar experiences to this, and how to manage it?
