Sukuna should win against the US Military.

SpoilerTake/Post Debunk

I think Sukuna wins.

What difficulty? Idk, because I’m not too knowledge on how it works exactly or what other things at it’s disposal other nuke spamming. Ground forces are effectively fodder so I won’t mention them.

My main point are both in part because his stats are astronomically high enough that most things people point to as an immediate win either doesn’t work on him or at best scores a mutual kill. And part of the actual narrative pushed in the story about his threat level.

Here’s why:

  1. The Simurians upon their arrival are treated as an actual threat, specifically one comparable to Sukuna.

This is important, because at that literally nobody knew what Dabura could do. It’s implied that his presence alone is what gives the Simurians as a collective, leverage over humanity. Including the entirety of the US, but not our US, the one in 2086 so their technology should realistically be leaps and bounds beyond 2026. But despite that being the case, humanity is collective being pressed, with their only solutions being either Yuji or Mahoraga.

I repeat, Dabura has effectively done absolute nothing at that point aside from standing in a room and aura farming. And people’s immediate reference for how big of threat he is not nukes, not military of world superpowers.

It’s Sukuna.

You can’t even argue for them being out of touch considering the people handling the Sumerians are responsible for international relations. There should honestly be zero delusions as what they’re dealing with. The news of Aliens being a real should be international news, you’d think they’d be gearing up for a demonstration of what happened the last time they were threatened if the Simurians were legitimately hostile, but even when relations turned sour they still left it to Sorcerers of Japan.

  1. Sukuna is not Mach 3.

Mach 3 Kaisen should die, and I stand by that. But for the sake of the argument let’s say that Mach 3 is accurate the actual speed Maki is reacting to.

That’s not her top reaction and reflex speeds with her enhanced senses. Maki when Awakened was literally smiling when Naoya was barreling towards her at maximum velocity, and she not outmaneuvered him mid air, but also turned around and smacked him to the ground in the same instance. This isn’t a Hakari situation where she barely dodged him, it likely takes her only a moderate amount of effort to consistently evade Mach 3 speeds.

A heavily weakened Sukuna, with his output shot to hell, proceeded to completely perception blitz Maki when actually trying. This Sukuna should be a noticeable amount weaker than full power Heian Sukuna, because Gojo when he got out of the prison realm could knock Uraumei out with singular punch, and was implied to have been able to physically rip Kenny to shreds. While Shinjuku Heian Sukuna at that couldn’t put Maki down even with a black flash.

There’s also just him casually statuing Choso’s super sonic piercing blood.

At full power he should be at least over a magnitude faster than Curse Naoya to straight up not visually register in her line of sight at that distant. Which makes him faster than any man made weapon that aren’t lasers.

Sukuna’s own reaction time should substantially be faster too, considering the implied relativity between Dabura, Gojo and him.

For Dabura at that point in the story I don’t think he’s definitively beating Sukuna, Gege as far as I’ve read isn’t the type to do power cliff like that. At least not without good reason or narrative backing like Yuji. Dabura surpassing anyone else in speed is still true, but that same sense you can also say that no one has ever in history of humanity able to change the target of his technique to the world itself like Sukuna, it’s not something valid to argue Dabura shit stomps Sukuna in my eyes.

Sukuna himself already shows that he’s able to somewhat hang with that level of speed, he was able to react to and barely dodge EM waves the first time while half dead, and a second time in his true form when he launch WCS to disperse another EM attack by Sukuna after he’s fired it.

  1. His durability is substantially greater than most people give him credit for.

Dabura survived his own acceleration and subsequent kick. No, he is not more resistant to this because this is his technique, his technique is only mentioned to allow him to accelerate to probably 0.93c, but actually surviving the journey there, on top of hitting a whole bunch of other things like whole buildings on the way, and then the actual kick itself is all purely Dabura’s own durability.

Sukuna also has a pretty impressive feat too with him surviving the Hollow Nuke while off guard and likely not using Domain Amp. I don’t see this being considered a lot for some reason, but that 120% purple isn’t an actual explosion, it’s an expanding sphere of death that spatially rips apart everything that it makes contact with down to the atomic scale.

As I said this was likely without domain amp, with domain amp he was able to take 200% Purple and come out relatively unscathed, clothes in tact and only lost both hands. Even if we know that it’s power diminished due to the distance traveled, it was likely still more substantially more powerful before it could keep coherent shape and the power wasn’t distributed outwards in every direction in an instant.

  1. He wouldn’t just stand there and take it.

If saw the nukes coming, he would sit on his ass and do nothing, he’d either just run somewhere else or cast his domain to limit the damage.

Moreover, how would they even keep track of him when he’s on the move? ICBMs i get because that those are large, traveling over vast set distances in the air to set designated areas. But this is a human sized target dusting fighter jets, he could probably cross the entirety of the US in like 10 minutes. He could easily go grab a phone off some random person, google key strategic locations, and immediately go there and delete them from existence. Repeat until the entirety the US is rendered defenseless.
