How I post to social media using Muse

Been testing Muse since launch. It’s genuinely good at writing posts but it can genuinely not publish most of them aside from Facebook, Instagram and Threads which connect automatically. Everything else isn’t there - which is a slightly weird experience. Here’s how I got TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube working.

The problem is just the launch connector list. Meta’s own apps are wired in through Accounts Center, nothing else is. Doing it natively per platform means separate auth for each one, and on TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube specifically, approval processes that take weeks before you can post for real, not just to a handful of test accounts.

What actually worked was the custom-connector route. I gave Muse one message with the entry point: “Build a custom integration for WoopSocial using this MCP server, use bearer token auth with this API key, test it and save it as a skill.” It asked back about transport, confirmed HTTP was fine, and had it built and tested in under a minute. I was expecting this part to be longer than it was. Then I just told it what to post, “post this to TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube,” and it checked in for approval before anything actually went out. Btw, that approval step is worth mentioning on its own, it’s not just firing posts blind. Honestly, I prefer it that way.

Honest trade-offs. You’re handing an API key to a Meta-hosted agent, that’s a real thing to sit with if you’re already uneasy about Meta and data generally, it’s an API key rather than your actual platform passwords - but decide that for yourself. It’s also US-only right now. And TikTok and YouTube still have their own account prerequisites on top of all this.

Quick summary: Sign up for a free WoopSocial account, connect the platforms you want, one message to Muse with the connector details, then tell it what to post. Happy to share the exact prompt if useful - just ask.
