What does the virus do, how to tell if I'm infected and how can I remove the virus if I'm infected?

Hello. I had the unfortunate idea of picking the game back up and installing a mod I saw here (a dinosaur nextbot, the post I saw it in was made by a guy that made a human achieve impossible speed) the same day and probably the same time the attack happened. I tried looking here if I could find an informative post but all I could find is memes and people rightfully complaining.

So I want to ask, what does the virus do exactly? Which mods were affected? How can I tell if I was infected and most of all, how can I get rid of the virus?

I also have a few more questions about uninstalling: after uninstalling the game I went and tried to check the workshop folder under .../steamapps/workshop/content/1118200 and couldn't find the folder, did it -with all the mods- get deleted upon uninstall or has the game changed SteamID since? If so, which folder should I look into now?

What I'm doing for now is running a deep scan of the System, I have monitored my Steam, Discord and bank account activity and haven't found anything odd so far, I haven't changed passwords yet but might soon. What else should I do?
