Nearby Pokemon tracking changed

Previously I would mostly see things spawning at Pokestops ~250m away and now I'm seeing spawns from actually closest Pokestops. For example Pokemon spawning around my homestop are visible for the first time. Nearby list also seemed to update more frequently while walking. While I suppose it's a good change for the nearby list to actually show everything(?) spawning close to you, I could still see myself walking less because of this if I won't be seeing things spawning few hundred meters away.
