How long after an high grade partial acl tear/rapture did it take for you to be confident returning to training

Any encouragement would be appreciated I'm currently still devastated. I can walk again but my confidence in my knee has dropped especially since a couple years ago I messed up the same knee, wasn't able to get the MRI then but I think it was the meniscus and currently MRI shows a high grade acl partial tear and damaged meniscus which I'm less worried about since it's not torn.
