Quick question about how karma works: does it come from posts, comments, or both?

Hi everyone! I'm still trying to figure out how Reddit works. I know you get karma from upvotes, but I wanted to make sure—does karma only come from creating posts, or do comments count as well? Thanks in advance for any help!
