Pillion seat sideways sitting issue.

Hey everyone, I had bought the RE backrest along with my hunter, but sometimes I have to give a ride to my relatives, my pillion is a senior citizen they can only sit sideways and since we're both stocky, the backrest is crushing them.

Are there any aftermarket backrests that Extend outwards?

Or is there any other method to make the pillion seat have more space, that doesn't involve leaning forward and crushing my balls on the Tank?
