Moving to St Albans (potentially)

Mid-30’s couple (no kids). Lovely town but I fear it might be way too family-oriented (it seems to be all about the schools!).

Wondering what it’s like for people in their mid to late 30s in terms of entertainment options (no raving required).

I play music and I wonder if there’s a good music community (live music, open mic venues, regular jams, etc).

I just fear it might be a bit dull.
