Swipe gesture between spaces just not fine tuned enough

I find swiping between spaces on macbook's trackpad harder than Arc. I'm not sure if anyone else experiencing this, but it does not feel good, I have to do a larger gesture. In Arc I just barely touch it and swipes so easily. In Dia I find myself to try 2-3 times moving my fingers to finally change the spaces.
