WoW Forever Skyborne Mage Professions?

Warning: WoW n00b here :) . I played the original game way back at launch over 20 years ago but never made it very far. IIRC, I leveled two characters to the mid 20s and I lost interest in that Crossroads region or the desert region right after it.

Anyway, when googling best professions for a mage then tailoring + enchanting comes up a lot but that is for WoW Classic.

So, I'm wondering what WoW vets with knowledge of the Forever beta would consider the best professions for a Skyborne Mage?

I actually went for Tailor + Enchanting in the Beta (level 14 character) but I'm not really seeing the usefulness yet as I was often times getting better same slot loot a rather short time after crafting a piece.

Is it more useful in the late/end game? What are your thoughts?

TIA :)
