How do you flirt on dating apps?

I am F23 and recently out of a break up and back on the apps (tinder, her)-im honestly just looking for something casual, hookups and friends, but i feel so awkward?

I have a couple chats with different women but I've realised i only really have experience flirting with men-and men feel easy.

Despite being AFAB, i honestly dont know how to go beyond pleasant small talk to flirting over text. I feel slightly more confident in person, but i still have to work on my confidence with approaching people irl, and im in a pretty small town with like no places to meet other people.
