Hi, it is my first time posting on here. Now, this may be a dumb question, but did Merrell change the shoe in the past few months? I've had the Merrell Moab 3 Mids for almost 3 years now and I was looking to get a new pair.

Anyway, I loved this shoe, both as an everyday shoe and as a hiking shoe, so I was looking to get the same one again, but after going online I've noticed that they look a little bit different. I found this pic (the 2nd one) on reddit while trying to figure out if I'm right or not in my suspicions. The ones I have look exactly like the ones on the right, but everything I've seen selling online looks like the one on the left.

Now, this may just be because one is brand new and the other is worn, but the pictures online look a bit different too, I think. You can see the difference in the first picture I've included (the lighting is different, so the colours are too, ignore that). Doesn't it look a bit "bulkier"? Like they've changed the shape slightly.

EVEN IF I'm completely wrong, and they haven't changed the appearance of the shoes at all, I've been seeing quite a few reviews saying that the quality has dropped as of late. As I said, I wear these shoes every single day and I'd hate to buy a pair that looks the same but falls apart after a few months of use. If any of you have bought a pair recently, do you mind telling me if you've noticed a difference? Does the quality of the materials feel the same? Is the fit of the shoe any different?

It'd really help me if any of you took the time to reply, I've been searching all day to either find answers, or an alternative shoe and I don't want to buy a different one if I don't have to. Thanks a lot for your time!

Did the Merrell Moab 3s change recently?
