Being a tool isn’t a requirement

Discussion & Feedback

It’s really not. You CAN just be a normal person. It’s hard for some of you but I think this is a good time to try - new game and all. Nobody is impressed, nobody cares. I know you’ve made you life this game but most people don’t. Everything your so powerful self has earned will be wiped in 2.5 weeks. Believe it or not it is okay to just have fun.

A couple examples for those who might not be aware of what being a tool is (nice word so I don’t get auto deleted again):

  1. talking in chat claiming someone sucks when you yourself having done very little and then switch teams (to winning team of course) to end up middle of the pack with 1 kill and 9 deaths. It’s disruptive and unnecessary and frankly embarrassing.

  2. refusing to engage in playful VOIP when your certain death is a mere moments away as the sole sniper on top of a tower rooftop who happened to see someone was coming up the tower ladder. When said ladder person asks after death what you might recommend doing to counter you say “get better bro.” B/c you’re probably right but not really that fun is it?

  3. blowing an absolute gasket and telling someone to “get ready to buy the game again” (terrific nonsensical comeback btw) after being TKd as the lone mortar person in a fob that had been taken over literally seconds ago claiming that said TKer should have known it was a teammate on the morter by the triangle above your head when in fact no such indicator exists while on the mortar.

These are a few. There are many. I suspect each of the individuals involved here will know who they are. They are tools. It’s really not that deep I promise. I’m not crying, it just never ceases to amaze me how people
can take a fun thing and absolutely ruin it. I’m not naive either…. I’m just saying….
