Lap myomectomy in 5 days and suggestions?

Hi all!

I have surgery in 5 days to remove my 11.5cm subserosal intramural fibroid and I’m starting to get the nerves! I have been excited to get this thing out of me with high hopes to retain fertility and reduce bladder pains the whole nine yards. I’m not sure what I should expect with recovery and what I will need! Iv had my appendix removed before so am thinking it may be a similar recovery but unsure if it will be worse or better? Any recommendations and advice would be greatly appreciated ❤️
