Weird rear wiper s124 1993

So yesterday I was going to the auto-store to get some bulbs for the rear lights to have them changed. But before changing them I had to see which bulbs were there, so I closed the tailgate and drove off. But as I was driving the rear wiper suddenly wanted to go off at random times. I tried pressing the switches and those still worked as normal. But with every switch off it still went. But it did stop one time after being in the trunk. I just pulled the fuse for the wiper and the fuses were fine. Please dont say that the eco-wiring harness also goes through the entire car..
