full body itching with hives, dyshidrosis and painful skin - persists 2 months after stopping

hi i took reta for 2 months and stopped once i developed a pervasive full body itch. i get welts where itch, sometimes bruises, sores. the itch was so painful and uncomfortable I felt like there was something hot in my blood, trying to touch me.
my skin is very sensitive still and i cant stand to wear a bra anymore it hurts
and i developed tiny clear liquid filled blisters all over my hands. i guess its called dyshidrotic eczema. i have been off the medication for 6 weeks and i am still suffering. have to wait 6 more weeks to see a dermatologist the dr referred me to.

no amount of antihistamines do anything. hard to sleep with the itching. a round of steroids helped but itching came back when it wears off.

I don’t recommend this medication unless you are morbidly obese, and have no other options. I’ve never had these issues before and they’re incredibly painful and difficult. I’ve lost tons of sleep over the itching. I had to drop these classes I was taking. be very wary of reta.
