Private Match Voice Chat Fix?

Game has been awesome so far, but I'm having an issue in private matches.

Voice chat doesn't work for most of us. We can all be speaking but we can't hear eachother. Sometimes toggling VC on and off will fix it for one or two people out of five but it's inconsistent.

We haven't been able to find a fix for this beyond each of us individually hosting a private match, then everybody who has hosted a match is able to hear eachother for the session (usually). If anyone has to restart their game for whatever reason we have to repeat the process again.

People that can't hear or be heard by others still have their voice icon show up on the side of their own screen, but it doesn't actually emit sound for anybody, which makes me believe the game is still registering us talking but there's something else wrong.

It works fine in matchmaking, only an issue in private matches.

Has anybody found a permanent solution?
