Glucose gels or tablets?

I just want to hear peoples experience with treating hypos with glucose gels or tablets? I found some online glutose15? Quite expensive for 1 tube but willing to try them.

I'm new to this diagnosis T1, And have had a few very scary lows recently where I just feel sick drinking juice, soda or eating lollies to correct it. And taking awhile for it to go back up!

Any advice is welcome.
