WWX’s Previous Limitations

Since Wei Wuxian, with Lan Wangji's help, regenerated his golden core, he went from being able to scale walls and rooftops to being able to fly and escape into the earth. Previously, when he took the younger generation to Night Hunting, usually lasting no more than two hours a day, would soon leave him feeling tired, prompting him to call Lan Wangji to take him back to rest. But now, he could spend three days in desolate mountains, ancient paths, or icy snow, and even afterwards, he'd drag Lan Wangji along, still wanting more.

Ah I really like this paragraph. It’s a reminder that WWX after losing his golden core could no
longer do so many of the things he once really loved to do and was so good at. Now that he has the golden core back he just wants to experience more of what he once lost and thought he could never have again.

WWX lost his old body but this new body gave him the opportunity to form a golden core again.

And I like how Lan Wangji was there for WWX when he needed help. But Lan Wangji is also there for WWX whenever he wants to spend as much extra time as he can on these night hunting adventures. Lan Wangji lets WWX do as much as he can and wants. He is there for him either way.
