Hey everyone! Has anyone ever experienced something similar regarding an artist?

There is an artist toward whom, due to a shared experience after a concert, I have negative feelings, and I've been keeping my distance ever since. Regardless of this, they are a great artist, and I still find their music and voice absolutely captivating. After a long time, I have to admit that despite any negative experience I had, their music is truly beautiful, and I want to listen to it. I am hit with a bittersweet feeling all at once; the negative moment makes me never want to remember it again, while at the same time, every single sound is beautiful. Who else feels this way?
