At the beginning of Wicked Wonderland when it's the first day of school, why doesn't Red already know that she has a sister since she returned to the present on the day of orientation?
I thought maybe she did find out about Pink's existence previously but just sang about it until the first day of school in Perfect Princess, but that doesn't seem to be the case, considering she only thinks there's subtle changes in the new timeline, before seeing how her mom wakes her up and Pink. Chessy also says how Red's about to find out her new life comes with a sister before the opening song, although who knows how canon the opening narrations even are in the first place, and even if they are, when exactly they take place.
I can understand that maybe even though she knew her mom was nice now she didn't realize she'd wake her up like that with a song and everything, but she seems to have had no knowledge of Pink before this.
Some time ago I gave some possible explanations for some of the other continuity issues, which involved Pink simply being somewhere else when Red returns to the present.
But now I'm thinking either-
- Pink wasn't at orientation at all and with someone else somewhere else entirely
- She was there, but ended up not interacting with Red since when she returned to the present, and maybe went for a sleepover at a friends' house, before coming back to her house on the morning they wake up Red (this is all assuming orientation was right before the first day of school).
- Red was so tired on the day of orientation she went back home before she could meet or even hear about Pink
I'm leaning towards either the second or third explanation
And I've officially thought more about the continuity in these movies than the people who made the movie
