Why I am against transgenderism

Hello, I have a lot of transgender people in my life and I do not want to be overbearing to them so I will just talk to the internet instead, I just want to say why I am opposed to transgenderism in a way I believe isn't harmful.

Ok first it is important to understand what being a man or woman actually is, I personally believe it is just coming down to chromosomes, if you have a y you are male, if not you are female, however people disagree with this saying that it is something to do with a person who associates with general feelings of things associated with womanhood, however this just plays into traditional gender stereotypes of what a man and woman should be like which I heavily disagree with. This is harmful to women who want to do things that stereotypically aren't related to women and vice versa, therefore there is no base definition of what a trans person wants to identify as without doing gender stereotyping.

As well as this I hypothesize that trans people just want to break free of harmful societal gender norms and do things that are generally associated with the other gender, thus resulting in transgenderism, this may be untrue though its just an assumption.

Furthermore, I think the rhetoric the trans community has created itself is what has caused it so much backlash from a lot of other groups in society, the disagreement of trans athletes in sports, trans people in bathrooms, dating conventions of trans people etc, these generally are positioned by the trans community to be essentially the trans persons needs to come first, this is why people are against transgenderism, for example, a trans athlete in a female sport may cause themself happiness but what about the other female athletes? Or maybe people feel uncomfortable sharing bathrooms with trans people yet the trans persons needs are put first, this is just wrong to me, the wants of the majority come before the wants of the minority.

Also this is less relevant so skip this paragraph if u want the relevant stuff, but this relates to my personal experiences with trans people, I have been physically attacked by trans people twice for expressing views, one happened today which is what let me to write this (granted the attack was just them grabbing my glasses and yeeting them), another thing is how a trans person I met is currently willingly in a relationship with an adult as a minor, another is the general attacks i have had of people just cutting me off because of like deadnaming, its whatever I guess I will never change my political views from personal attacks only from discussions but I think this has generally contributed to my dislike of transgenderism.

HOWEVER DO NOT HATE ON TRANS PEOPLE, NEVER HATE ON SOMEONE FOR HAVING A DIFFERENT BELIEF THAN YOU, just think of a religion you arent a part of, you might diagree with that religion but that doesnt mean you are hateful, non muslims obviously arent automatically islamaphobic, I am not transphobic and I have met some amazing trans people, these are just some personal opinions.
