Midpipe options for JDM WRX

I have a 1997 WRX Type RA with a full Apexi exhaust and I am in need of a new midpipe. My understanding is that regardless of whether I use a GC or GD midpipe, it will have to be a JDM spec because of the length difference. I live in rural US so there’s not an abundance of JDM parts on marketplace near me. What’s my best bet for replacing my midpipe? I cannot weld to save my life so if I go the custom route with flanges, what kind of price range should I expect? I won’t cry if I don’t have a resonator.
